A Naturalist's Walking Tour
through Petersburg

Welcome to Petersburg, or Séet Ká Kwáan in the language of the Tlingit people. This tour follows a 2.6 mile loop from downtown and takes about an hour at a leisurely pace. We’ll start heading north along the Wrangell Narrows, turn east for a short time on Sandy Beach Road, then head back south on the Hungry Point Trail, and finally walk back into town along Dolphin Street. Let’s begin!

The first stop is at Eagle’s Roost park, just north of downtown on North Nordic Drive.
